Well, the election sucked so it's not even worth commenting about. Kerry sank into Democratic oblivion, the war in Iraq has escalated, and New Orleans is in ruins. Spike and Eddy died this summer. It's been a pretty bad summer for the nation and our cats.

On a positive note, we have our daughter's wedding to look forward to next month, a new kitty named Isabelle; we have our home, our jobs, food on the table, toilets, and a bed. Things could be a heck of a lot worse. For this I am thankful.
